Refuge Therapy
Refuge Therapy is physically located near Bayfield, Ontario near the beautiful shores of Lake Huron, but is insured to help people all across Ontario via video or telephone sessions. I also work from an office in Stratford, Ontario, and an office in Exeter Ontario.
Right now it is just me, Tom. I am a Registered Social Worker. I have a Master of Social Work degree from King’s University College at Western University. I love helping people who are struggling with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship problems. I work with children as young as 5, young people, and adults, both individually and as a couple. I am a foster and adoptive parent who cares deeply about listening to the voices of adoptees and learning how the experience of being adopted feels and affects their everyday lives. I am also experienced in helping people heal from hurt and trauma related to religious upbringing and cultures. And I love helping people who are struggling with other challenges as well.
